Youth League Information – Fall ’24 Season.

After taking a few months off we're very excited to get the SD Inline League back rolling!  Our goal is to have around 40 players in this league to make up 4 teams.  If you have friends that might be interested, please pass on the information!

All games and practices are at Escondido Sports Center.

Required equipment – Skates, stick, helmet, gloves, shin guards, elbow pads, roller hockey pants.  The jersey will be provided by the league but turned in when the league is over.  Equipment.  

This league is for beginners ages 5-11 with less than a few years of experience.   Basic skating and drills are covered in the practices and players typically improve quickly, even if they have never played before.

The Youth League practice on Wednesdays from 4-5pm and have games on Saturdays from 1030-noon.   The placement skate will be on September 25^th at 4-5pm. 

If you have not played in the league prior, make sure you attend this skate.  We do our best to balance out the teams and we can only do this if we have an idea of the level of the players participating.   Teams will be placed to teams at the 2^nd practice on October 2^nd, which will also take place from 4-5pm.   The practice slot is the same for the entire season, 4-5pm every Wednesday.

Game Dates – October 5/12/19/26.  November 2/9/16/23.  Dec 7/14.

Registration Link.  Deadline to Register is August 30th.  After this date a $50 late fee will apply.

Cost is $250 per player which covers 2 evaluation skates, 10 practices, and 10 games.  We had to raise our prices slightly due to a 40% raise in our rink rental rate.  For 22 skates (averages just over $10 per skate) this is a very economical sport compared to many other youth options.

GOALIES PLAY FOR FREE, but need to be committed.  We do have goalie equipment for beginners.
